The CAN RUN team believe the best return from coaching is from taking part in a block of sessions and encourage those wanting to improve to look at this option.
We appreciate some people might want to see if our programme is right for them so have developed a “Starter” option. For just $50 you can join us in 3 sessions.
You can also join us on a casual basis for $20.00 per session if spaces are available.

Our Base line Course:
Includes coaching, drills, Q&As and feedback. We will assess how you run in changing situations and through an initial evaluation. We'll recognise when things are not working as well as they could and give you techniques to improve your skills. Individual focus is a key to success so groups will have no more than 12 runners per coach.
Athletics Canterbury wants to make these courses a real option for all runners so have priced the sessions accordingly. The price for each block of 9 sessions is only $130. Alternatively if you would just like to join us on a casual basis you could use the starter pack option (3 sessions for $50) or pay for single sessions at $20.00 per session. Send us a note if you are keen on the latter and we will give you more details on any available spaces.
Specialised Group courses - available on request
Specialised Group sessions allow individuals to work in a small group on specific running skills such as down-hill or sprints. If you are keen to do more specific group training, contact us for a list of the current courses on offer.
Individual Training Programmes
Individuals often want some training to keep them motivated in tough times - like now. So if you are keen for an individual programme covering between 6 to 12 weeks then please contact us and we will put you together with an appropriate coach.
As a guide an 8-week programme will cost $200 and include:
An Initial assessment via email with your coach
A specific weekly programme based on an event or goal
Weekly monitoring and review
Race plan advice even if this race is a “virtual one”
