Why you should run this relay

  4. It is a fast, undulating course - good running variety

  • The course is 2.5km lap of Lake Roto Kōhatu with the Under 16 relay runners doing 1 lap and the rest doing 2 laps each. Adults start at 12.30pm, Under 16 teams start at 2:30pm.

    This year is a Scratch relay with all teams starting at the same time. The adult teams starting at 12:30pm and U16 teams off at 2:30pm.

  • COMMUNITY TEAMS

    Submit your entry via the entry link and pay your entry fees into the bank account listed on the entry form.

    CLUB ATHLETES

    Your club will be sent a link to the club entry form. Contact your club to enter.

    • Senior Men, Masters Men, Mixed teams - 4 runners x 2 laps of 2.5km

    • Senior Women, Masters Women teams - 4 runners x 2 laps of 2.5km (a woman can run in a male team but a male cannot compete in a woman's team)

    • Boys Under 16, Girls Under 16 teams, Mixed Under 16 teams - 4 runners x 1 lap of 2.5km

  • Parking for the event will be on Lakeside Pl, Outlook Pl, Lakes Way and Greywacke Rd. Greywacke Rd is accessed from either Sawyers Arms Rd or the Northern motorway. You will then be required to walk through the reserve at the end of Lakes Way and through the gate which is approximately 50m from the Start / Finish Line. Please keep off the newly grassed areas.​
