The Royal Derby
Join in the fun of this right royal event; Dress up in your "royal attire" or just turn up in regular running kit. Please do not come in your birthday suit!
Everyone is welcome.

The 5km race is only available for those 10 years or older on 31st December, 2021.
Entries close 30 minutes before the start of the race, Monday June 7th, 2021.
Club runners - ideally enter via your club by Monday 31st May or enter on the day. Club runners are asked to wear their race numbers.
On the day runners - simply turn up at least 30 minutes before your race; fill in the form and pay $5 per runner for the 5km race and $3 for the 2.5km race.
Runners can dress up in the theme of the day - horse racing, royalty or club racing colours. Feel free to be creative and join in the fun and spirit of the day. It is the Queen's birthday after all.

ASCOT PARK, North New Brighton
The course is mostly grassy flat areas with undulations of up to 2m with the course map detailed below. There will be some small "horse" jumps as no respectable Derby would be without them AND we are very respectable. Don't panic though as these will ok for all types of runners.

Ascot Park is located in North New Brighton adjacent to Taiora QEII Recreation and Sport Centre. Parking is on Ascot Avenue and surrounding streets.
